COD4 Multiplayer Map: mp_forlorn - Updated to fix some minor bugs

This is my first attempt at building a map using the Radiant editor and as such i had to learn how to use the tools
as i built the map. All the building have been built from scratch 

This map was built as my entrance into the Infinity Ward Mapping competition.



Special thanks go out to IW for releasing the tools, and all the "IW COD4:MW PC Mapping" community members that have
helped by giving answers to any questions i had about the mapping process. Map would not have been completed in time

Installing and running.....

Extract the mp_forlorn directory contained in the main zip file to:

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\usermaps\

If usermaps directory does not exist create one.





To run map load game and select any mod, then from console type  "/map mp_forlorn"

Changes made to this version of mp_forlorn - Fixing reported bugs upto 25/3/2008


1) Fixed Player block hight at barrier near the burning garbage bin to prevent players jumping out of the playing area.

2) Fixed Window exiting onto the top of arch with sandbags where players could get stuck near electrical cables.

3) Fixed hight of window at same location so players can re-enter building by crouching instead of going prone.

4) Fixed players being able to crouch jump to gain access to second floor balcony.

5) Fixed Size of destroyed wall with boarded up window to allow easier access without needing to crouch or jump.

6) Blocked off open windows to an unaccessable room.

7) Repositioned a couple of grass clumps that extended through walls allowing it to be viewed from within building.

8) Changed ceiling design in one of the buildings that looked unatural.

9) Added ability to climb out of first floor windows on the same building.
