ADDITIONAL MAP INFORMATION

After I found out how to create maps and scripts I started with my first
project for our small Velbert-LAN-Parties. So I tried to make a part of my
home town Velbert, because I think this is a nice area for some fights.
However I tried to make this map extreme realistic so I put in a lot of details,
models, effects and multi-functions (refer to my scripts or see below).
...
That was really not easy and I think now I know all possible errors of
the editor. And of course my favourite message ... script compile error!!!

Nevertheless this is the final version and if you want to visit this location,
you should come to Germany, Velbert to the Hans-Bckler street (see screenshots)
... and yes, it's a school but please don't use it for training amok runs!!!
Note: No one of us visited this school, so I made the inside of the building of my
own imagine but we all know the outdoor area very well (as it was 10 years ago) ;-))

Remark:
If you get ping/fps problems due to the map size or functions, you can use
dx7 instead of dx9 or turn off some script functions (e.g. mortars/storm/battle).

However try my map, there is a lot to discover! Have fun.

Small Building		: 2 main entrances / 1 entrance by window / 2 accesses to roof
Big Building		: 3 main entrances + 1 side entrance / 4 entrances by destruction /
			  1 entrance by canalization / 2 by underground tunnel +
			  3 from entrance roof + 1 from main roof / 1 by window //
			  partial 3 floors connected by elevator, stairs and
			  ventilation funnel
Outdoor Area		: 3(4) entrances to canalization / 2 entrances to tunnel /
			  1 bunker / a lot of trees (incl. 3 platforms) and
			  bushes to hide and sniper.
Weapons			: 3 MG's + 1 hidden MG + 1 secret MG (Secrete 4) /
			  2 additional weapons / 3 grenades + 2 smoke gr./ a lot
			  of grenades and smoke gr. located in secrete 3

SPECIALS & FUNCTIONS	: Interactable Objects / Elevator / Underground Tunnel /
			  'driving' Vehicle / Plane Fight / moving Doors /
			  4 Secrets / flickering and moving Lights / Ventilation
			  Funnel / Weather changing / Canalization / Tank Battle /
			  bombing Planes / used many Exploder (e.g. windows) / etc.

Textures		: 288 textures has been used + some additional funny new ones
Extra Sounds		: yes

Supported MODs          : in any case --> allweapsgren.iwd... (no other tested)
			  Remark: Don't try to spawn anything, my map has reached almost all limits

Total Brushes		: 27888 Brushes used in this map
Total Entities		: 3872 Entities added to this map

Building Time           : > 3 Months, because at the beginning I had no idea what mapping or scripting was!!!

File Size		: .iwd --> 24.8 MB / .map --> 26.2 MB / Grid-Points --> 75082 (But I' ve never saw
			  these green dots) / VIS-Data --> 648584

Compile Time		: Test-Compile: approx. 15min / Tried to compile this map with VIS and
			  extra light calculation... but I stopped it after 28h ... impossible :-(
			  Only extra light (24h): Suddenly some models have this rainbow effect
			  Fast/Extra/Model-Shadow: Half of the lights, used in my map, didn't work anymore?!

Programs used           : CoD2radiant / CoD2 compile tool / asset manager / EffectsEd
			  winzip / gimp 2.1 (textures) / audacity (sounds)

Last & seemingly unsolvable bugs:
1. Light-Bugs at walls --> Some walls I've drawn 5 times & used shadow_caster... but can't get them away
2. 2 barrels and 2 windows do not work correctly ... sometimes!?
3. Sometimes fog or smoke could blink? Probably when too many FX at the same time are used.
3. At point 0,0,0 appears a script_model (near the bunker) and looks into my map...
I put a bush at this place but it looks a little bit strange!?!

Please inform me via e-mail if you find some more or a solution for the bugs, mentioned above. THX

INSTALLATION

To install and play this map use WINZIP or WINRAR and extract the above
mentioned iwd-FILE to your Call of Duty 2/main folder. That's it!

NOTE:
If you get the IWD_SUM_MISMATCH ERROR after loading this map delete
some other custom maps and/or change the mp_config (seta_sv pure "0")!

If you get the CL_Parse Gamestate:Bad command byte ERROR delete some
mods and use the 1.3 Patch for COD2.
