Sandscroll: HL singleplayer by [Kasperg] YUGO     2006


Extract the two bsp files  into your valve/maps folder and load "sandscroll" through the console.

This map takes place in what should be an Egyptian tomb. There are enemies to kill and some puzzles
to solve. This map should take longer to complete than my previous "Vilcabamba" map.
If you find the architecture too blocky, that's what it was like in ancient times.


Some facts 

-Slightly based on the Egyptian levels of Tomb Raider, Serious Sam etc.
-This map was made in 18 days.
-R_speeds are very rarely above 600. OpenGL is the recommended video mode to play this in.
-All textures were created by the author, with the help of Google, PSP and PhotoShop.
-You will not find grunts in this map, nor batteries for the HEV suit.
-The map was split in two to make compiling much easier.
