Description : My second map for UT2K4. I wanted to build something personnal for this one, based upon visuals and atmosphere instead of gameplay: Islam having had a huge impact on the development of mediterranean cultures during centuries, it made perfectly sense for me to use this theme... Built on an Athlon 1900+, A7N8X Deluxe/NForce 2.0, 1024 Mg de RAM, about 120 Gg HD and a GeForce 4 Ti4600 128 Mb with Win2K Pro.

Construction time : Don't remember... Don't tell me you care anyway...

Technical notes : To improve performances on the weakest machines, some static meshes and Emitters have been set to bHighDetails and/or bSuperHighDetails, therefore if you want to see everything you'll have to turn up the World Details setting to the max. Skybox texs are not compressed because the DXT algorythm simply messed them horribly, I did my best to reuse some of these texs to reduce the amount of RAM necessary though... The name of the map is ***NOT*** inspired by the El Hazard manga but by the Iain M. Banks' Science-Fiction novel Man of the Game and, yes, it's supposed to be a humoristic wink...

Credits : my stepmother and her awesome camera, the dad' for being a natural-born traveler, Ngolo, keyboard_junky, Rork, Kanthor, kjb[X]star, GNVA|Delta-9, yAMATO, gko, Angel_Mapper, CTFX1, xblue_cn/Moonflyer, Thunderstrike, Homeslice, SkaarjMaster, Luv_Studd, Jim Brown, Lruce_Bee, Loosecontroll6, krolizard, acidpablo, Luggage, MozI, Nathillien (this guy's 'da man' ^^), also Teddie & Tynan (for moral support), Desperado#2 & Ed Duke-Cox (for usefull tips about static meshes creation specifically for the Unreal Engine).
