hi and thanks for giving melee fort a spin :3

contained within this rar are all the current melee fort builds (a16), and some additional files. here are some instructions and issues regarding the installation of melee fort:

1. the chooser needs it's cfg to function correctly. put the cfg in the cfg folder

2. 3cp melee fort event needs it's nav to function correctly. put the nav in the maps folder. do not edit or otherwise alter this nav file.

3. dm melee fort features team-specific respawn rooms. to cut down on griefing, it is reccommended that you turn sudden death off. the supplied cfg will do this for you.

4. due to it being all-melee, it is reccomended that you disable capture crits on ctf melee fort. the supplied cfg will do this for you.

5. duel melee fort is intended for 1-on-1 fights only. any more than that and i cannot promise you that the map will function correctly.

now, some additional built-in features of melee fort:

1. the chooser and random chooser is compatible with all previous versions of melee fort (a15-a1), and will be compatible with prospective future versions as well (a17-a20, b1-b5). the chooser will change maps to whatever is the latest version stocked on the server. ie: koth_melee_fort_a12 will take priority over koth_melee_fort_a4. keep in mind that the to-be-mentioned failsafe system does not appear until a13.

2. melee fort is equipped with a failsafe system (a13 and up). a melee 1 output will be fired to the server on round start. this will take advantage of any melee plugins you may have on your server. a melee 0 output will be fired on round end, letting players restock their weapons from the various weapons caches. this failsafe ensures that, if a TF2 update containing new weapons is not covered by the built-in weapons stripper, players will only be able to use their melee weapons until the end of the round.
