To install>
Use WinRAR to extract the 'materials' folder to

Steam/SteamApps/**Counter-Strike Source Holder SteamID**/counter-strike source/cstrike/

So that it becomes cstrike/materials/(etc).

Background, Personal Note>>
I wondered what made TF2 models look so cartoony, so I poked around and discovered these lightwarps on the models, 
and started experimenting with them, adding them to CS:S and the like, 
there is a lot of potential for these, good and bad, I'm afraid. But so did everything else..
Opacity.. additivity(?), environment maps. What a shame.

I encourage skin makers to experiment with all sorts of different lightwarp combinations,
for example, the main reason the veins on my handskin look so pronounced are because of lightwarps!

It seems a model with a lightwarp must have phong on it, too. oh well.
I'm not geeky or smart enough to say the full uses of a lightwarp texture, sorry.



I only release when I feel there's a breakthrough to be had, but people don't really pay attention much..

Previous Releases: 
[FEAR Radio Pack (Deleted)] I tried to show that a radio setup could have multiple responses, and tried to let people explore source sound scripting.
There is also a way to remove every level's ambient sound so that more concentration can be had in a fight, using sound scripts, this emulates 1.6 behaviour.
[Distant Gun Battle SFX] Also tried to show how HL2 made sounds realistically distort with distance, such as when hearing a SMG fire far away, it sounds short and "popcorn"y.
This can also be used for an unfair advantage, I'm afraid, as all weapons can be heard from almost any location on the map.
[FEAR Muzzle Flash] Also, using an animated texture as a muzzleflash has an added flare of realism to it.. 


Side Note>

Please properly set up servers with sv_pure, disallowing walls with $additive or $transparency set. I'm talking to you, 24/7 office servers.

E.G., sv_pure blocking materials/ but allowing materials/models/weapons/v_models/hands ..
Allowing v_models would allow default retexture skins for guns, but not allowing also models/weapons/ would disallow custom models in case they gave an unfair advantage.. 
But keep the skins, even though they wouldn't be loaded.

Maybe VALVe will fix this someday..
